Beaune,
ideally located in the heart of Burgundy, is a city of art and culture
as well as the capital of Burgundy wines and a favourite destination
for people who love nature and fine food. A 22 km bike route links
Beaune to Santenay, taking cyclists through villages with evocative
names like Pommard, Volnay and Meursault. Burgundy is also a place
where you can drift over the vineyards in a hot-air ballon, visit
Fontenay abbey or combine gourmet dining and exquisité wine tasting in
exceptional settings such as Meursault castle, the Clos de Vougeot or
the Bastion of the famous Hospices de Beaune.
Beaune
is not only famous for its wines but also for its gastronomy. The town
counts over a hundred restaurants offering pleasant moments for your
taste buds. This delightful diversity of restaurants provides something
